L’ouverture du procés fait remonter en moi le sentiment d’horreur profond ressenti il y a trois ans, aprés l’assassinat lâche, maladif et inhumain d’Ilan Halimi. Existe-t-il un mot plus barbare que « barbare »?
Le huis clos ressemble a une tentative de camouflage. Pourquoi cacher la vérité, aussi dure soit-elle a voir et a entendre. Ce procés devrait pouvoir servir de leçon a la France et au monde entier.

ביום הזכרון, נהוג לומר שהחיים חייבים להימשך. למשל, אפשר לאייר ספר ילדים חמוד וקליל. אמש מסרתי לקיבוץ המאוחד איורים לספר של אורי ניב « בגלל שאני עדיין קטן », בעריכת יונה טפר. הספר בנוי משירים קצרצרים עם השפעה רחוקה של יהודה אטלס, מחברו האגדי של « הילד הזה הוא אני » הזכור לטוב. אני מניח שתוך זמן לא רב יוצג הספר על מדפי החנויות

My father was liberated from Buchenwald on April 11, 1945, after more than three years of Concentration Camps and Work Camps. Here is a cartoon he drew in 1945 while he was in the Sanatorium for one year in Belgium.
